The ‘1,000 receiving yards in the 2020s’ quiz
The 2022 NFL trade deadline was the busiest in league history, with 10 trades taking place on Tuesday. The Miami Dolphins traded for Bradley Chubb. Minnesota snagged T.J. Hockenson from division-rival Detroit. Chase Claypool is now a member of the Chicago Bears. But the most unlikely trade at the deadline saw the currently suspended wideout Calvin Ridley go from Atlanta to Jacksonville. It’s a complicated deal for both teams, with Atlanta’s final compensation to be based on a number of performance factors. For Jacksonville, the motivation was a bit simpler: The Jags got Trevor Lawrence another weapon. Ridley is seemingly ecstatic about the move, and now the Jags seem like they will be a much better team, at least on offense, come 2023.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. We are two seasons removed from Ridley having a career season when he put up 1,374 yards for the Falcons in 2020. So with that in mind, how many of the NFL players to have 1,000 receiving yards in a season during the 2020s can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
