Russell Westbrook is still a member of the Los Angeles Lakers…for now. But following an 0-3 start, there seems to be a sense of urgency from both the team and Russ to move on, but to where? The front office will reportedly look to re-engage trade talks with the Utah Jazz. Then there is the oft-discussed deal with the Indiana Pacers, where the Lakers would get Buddy Hield and Myles Turner back if they include two unprotected first-round picks. Of course, it is still up in the air as to whether or not GM Rob Pelinka even wants to make a move this season, but if you’ve lost the support of Magic Johnson, as Russ seemingly has, then it’s clear that a change has to come soon.
